KIST Europe is a branch laboratory of the Korea Institute of Science & Technology (KIST), which is the largest national lab system in South Korea. It is a government-funded research institute, founded in 1996 and located on the campus of Saarland University. KIST Europe is focused on environmental and biomedical technologies, and currently has more than 40 employees including researchers, postdocs, students, and administration/technical staffs.
KIST 유럽연구소는 1996년 한국과학기술연구원 분원의 형식으로 독일 자를란트 주(독-불-룩셈부르크 경계)에 설립된 대한민국 유일의 해외 설립 정부출연 연구기관입니다. 본 연구소가 주관기관으로서 최근 선정된 독일 연방정부 Health-AI 연구개발 과제인 뇌신경계 모니터링을 위한 웨어러블 센서 시스템 연구를 수행할 박사후연구원을 다음과 같이 모집합니다.

- Eligibility (General)
- PhD degree or above (including those who will graduate until August 2026) in natural sciences, engineering, or equivalent disciplines
- English fluent / no disqualification of working in Germany
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Conditions and types of employment
- Wages: Wage table (German TV-L standard), basic welfare included
- Contract period: 2026-2028 (maximum 2 years, depending on the performance)
- The successful candidate will closely collaborate with Saarland University in Germany.
