재외동포재단에서는 올해 온라인을 통해 <2021 재외동포 중고생/대학생 모국연수> 와 공모전 <더 위대한 도전>을 시행합니다.
1. <2021 재외동포 중고생/대학생 온라인 모국연수>
2021년 재외동포대학생모국연수(온라인)는 외교부 산하 재외동포재단 주최, YMCA 주관으로 진행되는 온라인 연수로, 코로나19 팬데믹으로 인해 온라인 플랫폼을 활용하여 추진 예정입니다.
1,500명 이상의 재외동포 대학생들이 온라인으로 모국을 체험하여 세계시민으로서 한민족 정체성을 함양하고, 민족적 유대감을 증진을 통해 서로의 문화와 마음을 공유하는 소통과 연수의 장을 제공합니다.
연수비용는 전액 무료이며, 우수 참가자에게는 2022년도 오프라인 모국연수 참가 시 우선 선발되며 항공료 최대 70%가 지원됩니다.

2. <더 위대한 도전> 공모전
2021 세계한인 청소년 ‘더 위대한 도전’ 은 MBC와 YMCA가 공동 주최하고 재외동포재단이 후원하는, 세계한인 청소년들을 위한 문화 경연 대회입니다.
“글로벌 코리안! 문화로 미래를 꿈꾸다” 라는 주제로 개최되는 2021년의 경연은 [에세이], [영상], [퍼포먼스]의 세가지 부문에서 온라인 응모 방식으로 진행되며,
국내 및 해외에 거주하는 만13세 이상 29세 이하 한인 청소년들은 누구나 참여할 수 있습니다.
미래를 이끌어 갈 청소년 참가자들의 꿈과 열정, 그리고 창의력을 담아서 만들어진 응모작품들은 웹페이지에 게시되며,
청소년 참가자들은 응모, 관람, 그리고 심사 참여를 통해서, 대회의 전 기간동안 함께 할 수 있습니다.
예선과 결선은 약 3개월간 진행되며, 최종 수상자들에게는 총 약 4,600만원의 상금이 주어집니다.
2021 세계한인 청소년 ‘더 위대한 도전’ 은 세계한인 청소년들이 차별과 경계를 넘어, 하나된 연대를 형성하고, 한민족 문화공동체의 꿈에 더 다가갈 수 있는 축제가 될 것입니다.

1. <2021 OKFriends teens/youth camp - online>
The 2021 OKFriends Homecoming Youth Camp is an online training program hosted by the Overseas Korean Foundation and organized by the YMCA.
Due to Covid-19 related restrictions, over 1,700 Overseas Korean Students from all over the world will participate in the camp via an online platform.
Through this camp we seek to assist Overseas Korean students in better understanding their place as global citizens and educate them on Korean culture and the history of Korean communities across the world.
Training costs are free of charge, and outstanding participants will be selected first when they participate in the offline camp in 2022, and up to 70% of airfare will be supported.
We are currently recruiting participants through Korean.net, so please refer to the link below and [Attachment 1, 2].

2. <The Great Challenge> competition
2021 Global Korean Teens & Youth ‘The Great Challenge’ is a culture contest for global Korean teens & youth, jointly hosted by MBC and YMCA and sponsored by the Overseas Koreans Foundation.
The contest of 2021, held with the theme of “Global Korean! Dream of the Future with Culture”, and is divided into three entry fields of [Essay], [Movie] and [Performance], and the Korean teens & youth residing in Korea and overseas from 13 to 29 of age are eligible for participation.
The application works created with dream, passion and creativity of teens & youth participants who will lead the future will be posted on a web page, and teens & youth participants can stay tuned all the time through the process of application, spectating and participating on examination.
The preliminaries and the finals will be continued for about 3 months and the final winners will be awarded prize money of a total of 46million KRW.
2021 Global Korean Teens & Youth ‘The Great Challenge’ will be a festival empowering global Korean teens & youth to overcome discrimination and border, to form a united solidarity, and to come closer to the dream of Korean cultural community.
